Heather Vieira had worked in the hospitality industry for over 17 years. She started her career doing marketing and events for Cattlemens Steakhouse. After working there for over 10 years, she decided to try her career in hotels. She worked as the Catering Sales Manager at the Sheraton for about 4 years. After having a child, she decided that working events wasn’t the right fit for her. She then joined the Encore Events team about 3 years ago as the Business Development Manager. She has also been a part of ILEA Napa Sonoma for over 6 years, attending events and in the last two years been a part of he Events Committee and now the VP of programs. She is excited to plan this years events, while meeting and introducing people in the Events Industry.


Brooke Altman, Immediate Past President

In 2003, while working in sales for a wine distributor and as a restaurant manager in Connecticut, Brooke decided that California was the place she wanted to be!  She packed herself up and moved to San Francisco in search of her dream job.  Brooke started working as an Event Coordinator for Knights Catering for a few years, before moving to Sonoma to work as the Director of Events at Viansa Winery.  It was at Viansa where she became an ILEA member, and have been one for 7 years now. Brooke just launched her new event planning company last year, Orchard Avenue Events, and is looking forward to continuing her ILEA involvement with Orchard Avenue Events and as the ILEA Napa-Sonoma board immediate past President.

Anyone who meets Pilar will see that her passion for events is all consuming.  Her ultra-organized personality combined with energy and creativity is what her couples appreciate most.

With over ten years of event experience, including corporate event planning and production in New York followed by winery event and wedding planning in Napa and Sonoma, Pilar has a wealth of professional experience which sets her apart in the event industry.

Pilar is fiercely loyal, unapologetically enthusiastic (and honest), and believes trust is the ultimate key to success in any relationship. She has been a member of the ILEA Napa-Sonoma chapter for 2 years and served on the events committee since 2015.



Madeleine Reid, VP of Communications

Madeleine was born into the event and hospitality industry, a product of two restaurateurs. She began her career working for a luxury catering company which taught her the intricacies of planning events, and also afforded her the opportunity to travel and participate in international food and wine shows. After  years of honing her craft on catering side of the event industry, Madeleine ventured into the wine business. Now, her enthusiasm for luxury events and wine aligns well with her position in the Events Department at Treasury Wine Estates, where she designs custom event experiences for clients, seeing the event from beginning to fruition. Madeleine has been an ILEA member for two years and is honored to serve on the Board of Directors.

After seven years in corporate America as a sales & marketing manager at Nestle USA, Lindsay and her husband took a year off to travel the world and explore their life passions. Following their sabbatical, they returned to the US and took a chance on a life in California wine country. Lindsay works for Found Vintage Rentals as their Northern California Sales Coordinator, where she oversees design & logistics for wine country events. She previously worked with Paula LeDuc Fine Catering as an Exclusive Venue Manager, where she oversaw event logistics at seven properties.

Lindsay loves being involved in ILEA for many reasons, including meeting new friends, learning more about the events industry and increasing membership opportunities. She also gives her time to the Junior League of Napa Sonoma, where she serves on the community outreach committee.



Victoria Petersen, Director

E3 Event Planning 

Victoria is the Events Marketing Manager for Grant Thornton LLP Public Sector.  In this role she designs and fabricates trade show booths and theme events for internal and external audiences. Events include holiday parties, partner retreats, knowledge fairs, and company meetings. She also writes and produces collateral and other marketing outreach. Victoria has been a member of ILEA Napa-Sonoma since 2011 and before that a member of the ILEA Washington DC chapter.  Her event “Once Upon a Midnight Dreary” received a Capital Award for decor.

Victoria is a Certified Meeting Planner and Project Management Professional and holds a B.S. degree from UC Davis in Environmental Design and a certificate in Floristry from Santa Rosa Junior College.  She lives in Windsor, CA and enjoys hiking with her dogs.

Anthony has 20 years of experience in the special event industry and is a founding member of the ILEA Napa-Sonoma Chapter.  He is passionate about local and international cuisine, and any opportunity to enhance the culinary experience. Anthony’s passion for food started by “enjoying all of my mum’s cooking and baking.  I love to serve, create and solve”.
